This is going to sound stupid I know, but I have run into an unexpected snag with setting up the WiFi for my Pi. This is more of a fox+chicken+grain puzzle than a set up query tbh.
You see, I need to know if there is a way to install the WiFi drivers manually into debian without having a LAN connection already? The reason I ask is because with the way my house is set up, I don't have a TV/monitor in the same room as my modem. The TV is to big to move and the modem is attached to the only network port at the opposite side of the house.
Even my longest length of LAN cable will not stretch and that's a fair few metres long too? Is there away to inject the drivers into the build files of the debian image?
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
